20 seconds left, La Salle made a 3-pt shot that made Ateneo's lead to 1 pt. But Ateneo made its 2 free throws which gave them a 3-pt lead. Still, La Salle was able to make a 3-pt shot that tied the game to 67. 0.8 seconds remained and there was an overtime. As the game continues, Ateneo was able to score 76 pts, and La Salle with only 72 pts. Aww... :(

the movie "Taken" (2008)

I've watched this movie, Taken, and it somehow showed me what reality is, especially when going someplace far and alone. =S









The story involved a father, who used to be a "preventer" of bad things, as he defined it, was divorced to his wife but still had access to his daughter who happened to have her birthday 3 days before something went wrong.



Geez, try to watch this video and see how you would react on the girl's (the one who's holding the cellphone) actions that made her suffer a consequence of being kidnapped. It really was scary. So for those who's planning to go someplace far and alone, better think twice and please...be wise enough and don't be stupid. Its a good thing she had a father like him (awww... =I)Nice movie by the way. It's a strong one, too. For all the ladies out there, check this movie out if you haven't yet.

Anilao Batangas

Hey guys, just wanted to share with you one of the good spots in Batangas. This was our last year's summer vacation, April 'o8.



Dining was also a good spot for it offered us a good view of the beach.



Now, if you keep moving towards the left, you can find their own swimming pool.

That's my boyfriend by the way, pointing, annoyingly, at the dining area of the resort.

We continued exploring the area and we found this part on the back of that rock thing that we're taking photos of.













Wow, I never saw that a fish popped out of the water til now =)






Still, 2 days and 2 nights was not enough. Oh, this was in Anilao Batangas (Mabini). The resort's name is Outrigger. You might want to try it. Its also a diving spot by the way.

Conti's Pastry Shop and Resto

It was my future mother-in-law's bday last July and my boyfriend's sister thought about buying her a cake for surprise. They were choosing between an Ice Cream Cake of...d'oh I forgot the name and Mango Bravo of Conti's. They bet that tita would love to have an Ice Cream Cake for she haven't had one yet, but they knew that she'll also love the Mango Bravo for it had a better taste.

So, they drove to Trinoma, where they bought the Mango Bravo, and to Makati to buy the other foods, then headed back home. So, when they reached home, they fixed things up and after 30 mins, tita and tito arrived. As she walks towards the dinning area, as planned, she was surprised.

The plan worked properlyand tita loved the cake. My boyfriend's sister said that they should do the same thing to her birthday. I wonder how the other cakes of Conti's taste like... =)
